Is the most noisie place that i never been , sleep is imposible. There's no rules about quite and every body keeps opening and closing doors all the night . There's also inly six UNISEX toilets per floor for more than. Ten rooms in a floor so they are constantly busy and dirty because lucky they clean them once a day .

Location is IDEAL! The staff are THE BEST and work SO hard to keep the place clean and truly want to engage with you in a positive/efficient way; pick their brain about what to do, how to move in Melbourne, or anything really. This hostel is a VIBE! Dope common area with free pool, sweet dining space, rooftop cafe, great modern open kitchen & variety of rooms with reasonable prices and everything you need. Met some really cool people here and highly recommend you get in touch with “Sam” who’s the social engineer of good times!!

Refused our stay after checking our ID and seeing I was just over 35 and wouldn’t provide a refund, then offered a credit note for a private room which was then retracted due to no availability. There was no empathy or any offer of helping us to find alternative accommodation.

Great central location, lovely staff and clean rooms/bathrooms. The only downsides are that the walls in the rooms are thin so you can hear if someone is using the hand dryers in the bathroom and the temperature in the showers is really hard to master. You either have it super hot or super cold and it changes inbetween while you shower. Regardless of these points I still had an overall great stay here.

Was a great place really loved my stay. The only thing is a lot of people really life here. So if you just for a short stay and you book a 2 persons room like i did please be aware that there is a big possibility that your roommate lifes in the room and there is stuff everywhere. Other then that its amazing the staff is doing everything and beyond.

If you want to stay in a very central location in Melbourne at an affordable price, this hotel may seem like a good option. However, the experience was far from pleasant, especially during New Year’s or public holidays. The room became extremely loud due to the bar downstairs and people gathering outside, including homeless individuals.

Booked a last minute room, and there was availability. There are options for more "deluxe" which I believe have aircon - this will be needed. We are in a very hot room but they're are rotating fans that help the rooms air circulate. Room lockers and storage options are available. Large kitchen area for cooking/ communal cooking. Areas for chilling out around this area on level 3. 2 elevators to help bring you to each level as well as stairs. Pool table available as well. Rooftop area has restricted access closing at 4pm which can be disappointing. Large laundry area with multiple machines and option to iron clothing also. Bar that serves food is open to hostel also

Amazing experience. You’re not far from the train station, state library, casino, even the stadium was within walking distance for those unafraid of a stroll. Staff were friendly and helpful. Of course it’s luck of the draw but we had different roommates both nights and they were all respectful top lads. Kitchen and communal areas looked nice and inviting though we didn’t use them. Rooms were quite bare bunk rooms but nice and clean, standard affair for a hostel. Make sure to bring a padlock for the lockers, we were able to fit two small duffel bags in there, so quite reasonable for valuables. We really appreciated the Yellow Submarine decor in our floor. Amazing hostel for the price and location.

I have absolutely nothing but amazing things to say about this hostel. My friends and I booked a three bed dorm and luckily got put on the 10 floor (one of the floors that had bathrooms since not all floors have one) & it put us one floor down from the cafe/rooftop. Rooms were clean. Bathrooms were clean - we actually saw the housekeepers cleaning them every morning and were amazed at how meticulous and efficient they are.

This is the perfect spot if you want to be right in the heart of Melbourne. My favorite part of the stay was definitely the rooftop; I ended up having breakfast and chilling up there every single day.
